I took a lot of interest in the MET Gala this year quickly wanting to see what the celebrities had chosen to dress themselves in and was pretty disappointed with these 'major' celebrities. I feel a MET Gala dress is to wow or be so beautiful you cannot take your eyes off it... So I have picked my own best dressed list and think you will agree, it should not be all about the 'okay yet slightly boring' Kim Kardashian dress but should be about those smaller celebrities that have turned up and wowed on the red carpet.
Forget Posh & Beck's, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds looked like the perfect couple on the red carpet! Her figure hugging, sequined, flowing dress and his velvet suit are what I was expecting for the MET Gala. I felt she looked beautiful and Ryan Reynolds brave choice of velvet suit brought something different to the typical men's black tie attire.
Forget Amber Heard here! Johnny Depp steals the show with his vintage suite with tails and the accessories? ...Well only Johnny Depp could pull them off but I applaud his interesting choices! I definitely think pocket watches should come back with a vengeance, why should men not be able to have beautiful accessories too?

Sarah Silverman was probably my favourite of the night and yes it is probably cliche to go for the scarlett, beautifully structured ball gown she chose, but she looks amazing! A beautiful girl, with an incredible sense of humour, she's usually only seen in her casuals. But boy can she pull this off! I think we need to see her on the red carpet more often. Porcelain skin, jet black hair and beautifully simple makeup, she knew exactly what it took to pull this dress off and I think you will agree she certainly does not blend into the carpet!
