I have just come to an end of finishing 70% worth of my final University work and and I have to admit I'm relived!
I'll admit I have found it difficult, having been through two years of University with the grades not counting towards my final mark this year has been rather worrying, thinking just one slip up could bring your entire mark down is horrible to think about.
This has of course added to the stress levels whilst doing the work, a normally cool calm and collected me has been turned in to a panicky mess...
However it is handed in now! I managed to do it and I learnt a lot through out.
I based my work on ethical business within fashion and I have learnt so much about an area I am interested in, even finding potential jobs to apply for whilst researching.
I have also had to create a business plan for my final work, teaching me skills on what it would take to run my own business, down to every detail including the accounts.
My maths and excel skills although a bit rusty have been revived and I feel I will leave confident and feeling ready to take on a challenging job role which I can excel in. I have even applied for some Merchandising roles due to feeling more confident about my mathematical abilities!
I am excited to finish and hope to be offered a opportunity within Buying soon. But first comes Graduate Fashion Week! This is my year, my chance to show my work and speak to as many influential people as possible...I have been waiting for this!
