Putting a smile on my face...

Book recommendation… if you love a good giggle! ...

Allie Brosh's book first came to my attention via an Instagram post from a friend. The image posted looked so interesting I could not help but investigate and found out that the image came from the book Hyperbole and a half.

After investigating further and reading some of her blog I found her short stories, taken from her life growing up hilarious and immediately bought her book from Amazon.

I found the book such an easy and fun read I had to stop myself from reading it all as soon as I got it, I limited myself to one chapter a night, two weeks later I'm currently beginning to read it all over again.

Its well worth a read, with amusing little drawings like the one below, the author also talks about more serious topics like battling with depression and how she got through it, all with a positive spin. It's a true feel good book and definitely distracted me and cheered me up after a stressful few months in University!

I suggest you check out her blog... and if you find it half as hilarious as I did I am sure you will be buying the book:
